BOURBON CHICKEN
INGREDIENTS
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts - cubed
- 1-2 chives - sliced thinly on bias to garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
- Into a large casserole dish combine: ginger, garlic powder, soy sauce, brown sugar and bourbon. Whisk to combine. Add chicken. Cover casserole and transfer to refrigerator to marinate for a minimum of one hour.Into a large non-stick skillet over medium heat cook chicken in batches until done, add marinade to each batch. It will thicken as it cooks.
